My Story

Anyone that knows me will know that in the last 5 or so years I’ve became a keen runner so, I wanted to start my year with not only a physical but mental challenge whilst raising funds for an amazing cause.

I have decided to run the Edinburgh Marathon on 28th May 2023 for Falkirk Mental Health Association.

Mental health affects around 1 in 4 people each year. The past couple of years have been challenging for many people living through covid and adjusting to the new normal post covid. More recently, the cost of living crisis has put pressure on many people causing a detrimental impact to peoples mental well-being. I think this is a really important cause which impacts nearly everyone in one way or another in todays society, directly or indirectly through a friend, family member or colleague.

Falkirk Mental Health Association offer many different services to the community in Central Scotland, this support helps adults and children through hard times and provides people they help a light at the end of what may be a long dark tunnel.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to represent this charity and anyone who wishes to sponsor me can do so by donating via this page.

Thank you so much in advance
